For some reason a hack, probably one of the most impressive hacks around, was rejected when I submitted it to the site. Even tho an incomplete version was gladly posted on the site before. Here is the hack patch.

This is some images:

Title screen.

Character Select screen

Battle Screens.

As you can all see every character from MK1-MKT is added, and a few levels from MK3 were restored. Not to mention every character was given a few new fatalities and every level has a pit fatality of some sort. They even added versus screen images for all the characters and given them bios and endings.

This is a link to the hacks official website.

I was hoping that it would get approved to be hosted on this site because I was hoping to make my own supplimental patch. Mostly to correct some of the bad engrish in some character bios/endings. And englishize a few parts that are written in russian. I also touched up a couple sprites that needed touching up.

I have to say, this hack is very impressive.  Think you could do the same to the SNES version?  I know it uses a different assembly code...but still.

IIRC, the hack was rejected because it only works on a specific emulator.

Like Panzer said, it would be awesome if this was a hack of the arcade version.

heck, if not the arcade versions at least it would be cool to have hacks of the PSOne/Saturn version of MK Trilogy with the additional content. The lack of colors is kinda scary.

I don't think that is a good excuse for rejecting it, because it was hosted on the site earlier, in a more incomplete form. That's why there is a entry for Ultimate mortal kombat 3 when you try to submit a hack. and that submission even had an emulator packed in, which I included I included also. I don't get why they made an exception for the incomplete hack, which was removed because they found it was incomplete, and reject the complete one.
