And I thought I was crazy when I called Gemini a god before. At least I'm not screaming it out in the middle the day, in Japanese! XD
Seriously, though. Nice work.

Thing is, I’m not a fan of the series, really, but most of my friends are, and big time @_@ Honest! The mirthquake could be felt for miles around. Pretty much everything around this apartment is going to shut down when Tsumi is ready (we got an honest-to-God PSX lying around, and I’m sure one of them even has an honest-to-God copy of the game by now). Its release may well be singlehandedly responsible for bringing all their GPA’s down to my level! Well, maybe not, but a man can dream, eh? Plus, I just like seeing that it’s possible, there are quite a few games I’d love to see it happen to....

And I thought I was crazy when I called Gemini a god before. And you still are. :p Stop calling me a god, I'm not one. I think I said this multiple time, but you can call me Chuck Norris if you really want. Take my roundhouse kicks, Playstation software! Anyway, this is the most recent version of the subtitle build: Font is more consistent now, and there are no more slowdowns even with the longest periods (thank you, absurd FOR optimization). Oh yeah, no more centering issues. I only need to test it on real hardware and fix a fatal crash with the ending (no clue why it happens only there), but it should be more or less complete and ready to be recycled for Red Moon.

Chuck Norris doesn't do interrogation, he stares until he gets the information he wants.

And I'm still way impressed by it.

Hehe. Nice job, Gemini. Those shots look great, and it interests me to see what you'd do with it for your Castlevania project. You planning on doing videos with Japanese audio, or like...Japanese text, and subtitling them?

You planning on doing videos with Japanese audio, or like...Japanese text, and subtitling them? Not sure what to do yet, but no Japanese text with subtitles for sure. I'm not even sure there will be movie(s) in there (really dunno what to put in them or who should create them). Just packing stuff in some sort of all-in-one-workspace for all purposes, just in case I need anything. PS: Subtitles are now entirely done and crash free for Persona 2. It didn't really like the decompression code a friend wrote for me aeons ago. The game's regular LZSS seems to have no such problems. :p

Well, due to school, I haven't done any FFIV work in a while. So I decided to do a tiny hack this morning with some spare time. I hacked "MP Cost" so it displays with the space. And "Summon" so it displays the full word, without the "n" being white. ~DS

I hacked "MP Cost" so it displays without the space. That confused me for a while. I'm assuming you meant it displays with the space?

Most of the menu, items, descriptions and locations are translated. Here's a snapshot of the new VFW. Before: After: I need still to fix some found bugs on the item name display and I might do some quick fixes to the font as well.

...I'm not sure I'd call that a VWF, what with the i and l spacings being off and all.
