Anyone like to give it a better shot than what I've done?

How's this?

Honestly, that one looks the best of all of them. Have you tried placing Eternal where Eien no is in that style? The others clash too much, imo.

Thanks turtle! that helped a TON!

now all i need is your thoughts on what i should do to the E T E R N A L.

A) Smaller?
b) No caps?
c) Less space between letters?

What program do you guys use to make Sprites/Pixel Art/Title Screens?
I'm tired of using MSpaint

I am glad I could be of some help  Smiley . Using the word eternal while imitating the original style/feel/look is quite difficult. I kind of like the all caps, but I do think it needs to be a tad smaller and less space in between the letters.

I use MSpaint for quick things and Gimp and Adobe Photoshop Elements for more involved projects.

the word ETERNAL does mimic the style of the japanese kanjii, if you look close enough you see the lighting in the kanjii is a cross shape, so i just transferred that over to Roman (?) letters.

I noticed that, I meant that there is not much else you could do to improve it. The kanjii characters are fairly close together, so maybe you can mimic that as well? If you shrink the letters a tiny bit then you might be able to convey the same balance of the original title screen. What truly matters is if Satsu likes it  Cheesy .

may need to make "Filena" smaller to accommodate the large shadow, dunno. if not, at least, need to squeeze the "E T E R N A L". even if you want it separated like that, you want it to be say, 80% of the width of "Filena".

Wouldn't Eternal Filaynah pr something be a better title? It's just that some English speakers might read it as "Eternal Filena" File as in the word, "File" not "Fi lay".

Not when you're trying to keep some continuity with the original books/anime. Most sources seem to call it "Filena" with "Filerna" coming in second. The loading screen says "Filerna", but I went with Filena for space reasons and because the name is actually pronounced more like "Filena" than "Filerna" anyway.
Furthermore, "Filaynah" is a real eyesore.

Maegra:
Sorry for not getting back to you sooner on this, I was away for a week. Anyway, I'm very pleased with your work, but I think Sleeping Turtle and Kajitani-Eizan have the right idea here. 80% sounds like a good idea.

Maegra, I did a quick attempt to show how you maybe able to keep the original all caps letters. I made the letters the same height as the kanjii characters and tried to make them roughly the same width as well.

I think he is limitedl by tile amount. The eternal filena one looks really great. I say you stick with that but maybe just lighten it up a bit.
