This is like having jetlag. I put the first post up at 2amish, then had the rest of that day to not do anything, and then i had to experience my day today and write about it before midnight. I have no idea if I'll get this done before midnight, but, I guess I'll find out.

It was my usual class routine today. It's kinda odd having classes all in a row. I got used to having downtime in the library in which to do some thinking and listen to music. Now i get a few minutes inbetween class to listen to music. And thinking...well, i do that in class. I think I zoned out like three times in my Philosophy class today. I know there was something about philosophy in it. Arguments or something. I'll read a book later. We talked about dreams in the beginning. More to the point: how can you be sure you're not? My answer, though I didn't express it, was that I couldn't fly around and drop things on people. Oh well. Next was some discussion about the film Roshomon. It was okay, but I zoned out at the end and missed what was probably the key part of its message. Stupid wood cutter. At the very end of the class, a student drew a parallel to The Boondock Saints. I wish we could've discussed that, too. That would have been great. Just about any movie that has someone with Tourettes Syndrome talking to a nun is well worth discussing. Maybe next time. There was my Data Communications class before that, but I won't bore you with info about that. Trust me, you're probably better off.

I had to watch some videos for an assignment for my Computer Graphics I course. By videos, I mean VHS tapes. It seemed kinda bizzare watching them for some reason. It's been longer than I thought since I've operated a VCR. There were some other students in there watching the lectures-on-tape of the Chemistry classes I took. Some professor and everything. Why I signed up for an 8am Chemistry class I'll never know. The students were going on for a while about how boring the guy was. I can only imaging trying to watch those videos. Staying awake in class was hard enough. The assignment was easy enough. Just a heads up, though, don't look through CG from the 50s. It's really not worth your time to see. If you do, don't expect too much.

Having finished my academia for the day, I moved on to phase two: buy gym shorts for my volleyball class (my school requires I take two PE classes, so....). I walked into the Wal~mart near my apartment and saw a rack of winter coats. Only then did it occur to me that finding a pair of shorts in the middle of winter would be a difficult task. I found nothing there. I tried Galyans (pronounced like scallions, but with a 'g'. i asked the clerk once.). Aha! Shorts ahoy! Only, ugly shiny shorts that I had no intention of wearing. Also, no pair of shorts there was less than $25. I have no idea where to get shorts now. Since I can miss two classes before I start losing points (a mere 100 points...), I plan on just skipping out on it tomorrow and scouring the mall and local stores for a pair. I'll end up getting something, that's for sure, though it's more likely i'll give up and buy a Notwist or Husker Du cd instead.

So, I haven't gotten a life yet. Still, I actually got out of the apartment for a while, and that's more than usual, at least. The mere fact that I'm trying is making me at least feel a bit better than usual. Thanks to everyone who's IMed me about the site. It's good to know that there are actually some people who read it. Oh, I mentioned multiple times before the '8 or so people' who read this site. There might be more or less than that. Whatever the case, whether I know you or not, thanks for reading this. Really, thanks.

I can't think of a way to close. Whatever I start to write ends up sounding too much like the ending to every single Hamtaro episode. You know, before the ending sequence. The part where Laura writes in her journal and tells Hamtaro that today was good, but tomorrow will be even better, and then Hamtaro says something and tilts his head and makes a hamster noise. You know what I'm talking about, right? Heh, I probably know more about that show than a twenty year old should. Whatever. I'm gonna go watch cartoons now.
