Yeah, I have no idea how a slide ruler works, but they look cool nonetheless.

I went outside to my car this morning. Snow. Just snow. Everywhere. It was pretty sweet. Some parts had been cleared already, but my car and the area surrounding it were completely covered from a weekend's worth snowfall. I wiped a bit of snow off of my door and started it up. I grabbed the snow scraper and got to work. There was at least six inches of snow on top of my hood...and pretty much everywhere else. I had to bang snow off of the headlights and license plate and everything. It took me a while. I was just about done, starting to clean off the back, and then I realized that I was standing in about a foot of snow myself. Yeah, my car was surrounded. I couldn't find a shovel. I debated for a while trying to kick or stomp all the snow away. I was already getting numb, so brushed off my jacket and shoes and got in the car. Four wheel drive was already on, so I just put it into reverse and gave it some gas.

Right through it. Easy as pie. Had I more time, I would have tried to see what other snow piles I could have driven over, but I was running late as it was. School was boring. Had a quiz...easy enough. My Philosophy class was cancelled, which means I read that chapter in the book during breakfast for nothing (although now I just realized I was reading about philosophy while eating Life cereal..hehe).

I went back out later to Target to go and pick up those gym pants (the fwiff-fwiff kind). They are quite comfortable (though noisy). The parking lot wasn't really cleared at all. There was just compacted snow and regular snow. Being bored, I decided to go 'off road' and forge my own parking spot in the snowy badlands. There were a few others parked there, too, so I'm pretty sure it was actually part of the lot. Whatever. Checked out Borders afterwards for a Weakerthans cd. They had both the ones that I wanted, but I realized I only had $20 left in my wallet and decided that the mp3s would have to be good enough until I get more cash. Oh well.

Life is life as usual. I mean, I drive around more, but I still don't accomplish anything. Ho hum. I really have to find a place to get rid of these cans...
