I received a series of spam messages. Actually, I received and continue to receive many series' of spam messages. Occasionally, the spammers seem to throw a few test emails or otherwise fake spam just to mess with filters and users. Or so it would seem. I don't really know how those crazy spammers and their botnets full of zombies go about their business. I get the feeling I would be far more interested if botnets involved real robots and zombies were real zombies. Alas, this is not the case.

Not yet, at least.

Anyway, I received a particular series of spam messages that don't seem to be interested in selling me anything at all. I know that oftentimes spam messages turn out being oddly poetic. Of course, most such spam messages end up being half spam message and half plagiarized excerpts from famous novels and plays -- hence the poetics. This series of messages, though, just kinda stands out. They're short, they have a very similar structure, and they have that “doesn't make sense but sorta makes you think for some reason” quality that I can't remember the word for. Zen, maybe? Whatever.
